The Principle
The magnetic motor works on the simple principle that we all already know, ‘Like poles repel each other while opposite poles attract each other’. By arranging the magnets in a fashion where only like poles face each other, one can simply set the motor into motion like in the video below. (You can skip to the important part by jumping to the 4th minute of the video)
Once the motor is set into motion, one can treat it like a turbine and extract electrical energy out of it. That’s how simple this is!
How it works?
The device can be made to work a little better if an electromagnet replaces the opposing magnet in this setup. This is because one can quickly switch the poles of an electromagnet. Although this will require some amount of electricity to make the electromagnet work, the output of the magnetic motor will be much higher than the power used to operate the electromagnet.
Efficiency of the device can be further increased by changing the design of the motor and positioning magnets in a way where the motor can run easily. In the amateur video below, this guy from Pakistan makes his own version of a magnetic motor, and you can see how it works!
The Problem
However, there is one major flaw in this setup. The electrical energy that can be generated out of such a system seems to be created out of no fuel at all and that is stumbling everybody. So far, all we know is that to generate electricity, we need some sort of a source, rays of the sun, kinetic energy from flowing water, or at least some fuel to be burnt so that the turbines can move and generate electricity. However, the magnetic motor challenges this notion and tells us that all you need is an arrangement of magnets (like in the first video above) to put the motor in motion and generate electricity. For many people, this seems to be breaking ‘the law of conservation of energy’, making this concept very difficult to accept!
But in reality, it is the magnetic energy that is being used to put the motor into motion and over a period of time, the magnets will lose their magnetism and the motor will stop. But again, all one needs to do is replace the magnets and the motor will be workable once again. There is some work that has been put into the type of magnets that can be used for such motors and Neodymium magnets have been claimed to offer the best results.
The Scam
If you do a simple search for magnetic motors, you will find a lot of websites promising free electricity for the rest of your life and all that for $40 or less, one time investment (with free home delivery too). It is difficult not to get suspicious about the tall claims made by such sellers and one would have to be extremely gullible to fall for a scheme like that. Even if you have fallen prey to scheme like this before, you might find solace in being not the only one. This guy named Mike Brady was arrested for pilfering a sum close to 1 million Euros that came from 61 Germans who believed that he could deliver them a magnetic motor that would generate electricity. There is some evidence to say that Brady’s motor did work but there have been quite a few other companies who have been tried to perfect this motor for a while and rid us of our energy woes. Unfortunately, these companies have closed down or gone into hiding for reasons that are varied but also because they have not been able to deliver on their promise of a free energy generator that can scale a town or a city.
Hope
Even though scammers promise free electricity, the fact remains that there will be a set up and maintenance cost and somewhere even the cost of replacing the magnets, which is not going to be cheap. Still, if we can get a motor that can generate energy which reduces on dependence on fossil fuels and does not harm the environment as much, then why shouldn’t we go for it? Yes, it needs to be perfected and explored more scientifically but that’s the case with all discoveries.

Also, when you mentioned that companies perfecting this motors "have closed down or gone into hiding for reasons that are varied", do you think that governments have something to do with this? Because if you control the energy, you control the people…

To answer your question, I would not say that governments do not want this technology to develop. As fossil fuels get dearer, all governments are actively seeking alternatives for energy.
But governments are made of people, like you and me, and it is not unnatural for individuals to put their own interests before the interests of others. So, there might be people who do not want this to develop further (although I do not have any proof of such activity) at least for the time being.
If we can perfect this mechanism in the coming decade or so, I think we have a brighter and cleaner future ahead of us.
If there is no energy in magnets how does an unsaturated magnet produce double output power in comparison with output power produced by a saturated magnet ?

In effect, the magnets are acting as a type of battery. This brings up a question for me: How much energy is needed to produce the magnets? Answering that question can tell us what the efficiency ratio is.
for one to use this technology would mean that the one must become a dictator and risk a world war! There are people that will put a bullet in your head if they knew that what you are doing can change the world …even if the change could affect everything on this planet in a way so good and so ….i can't even find the appropriate words to describe it.

What you say is true. The magnets are acting like an energy source and sooner or later they will stop working and will have to replaced.
Magnetic motors are not everlasting or completely free as many people believe them to be. As we said in our post, there will be set up and maintenance costs and like you said, we need to find out what their efficiency ratio is. But in case, it is good, there is a good alternate to producing energy that is clean and easy.

It might be true that many large corporations would not want people to access this technology right now. But, if we can find scientific evidence to support its working, we will have other corporations that would want to promote this technology, just like solar energy harvesting is being promoted for individual households now. It took decades but is happening.
Becoming a dictator, risking world war seem a little too far fetched for this kind of technology. Guess there are other technologies that can force you to become a dictator.
I had this idea when I was thinking to myself in science class. "Magnets make things move. To make power using a generator you need things to move. To create energy you must have energy. Magnets require no visible energy." It had me stumped so I looked it up and found this article, which I found very useful. Thank you for helping to expand my knowledge on magnets. I had no idea that over time they loose magnetivity. How does a magnet loose its' magnetivity and how does a magnet get charged. Is magnetivity almost like a kind of radiation and leaves the atom? Do magnets naturally weaken or do you have to use them to loose energy. How long would a magnet take to loose enough energy to make a generator unusable, and what would the price be to replace such magnets.
Gradually the permanent magnets become demagnetized with each pass of opposing pole magnets in the setup. This de-gaussing is caused be the Hall effect currents that occur in the magnetic material as they pass through the magnetic flux of the other magnets. Eventually, each of the magnets will become so weak that the rotation will fail. Energy must be expended then to re-magnetize the magnetic materials. If we measure the energy needed to re-magnetize the magnets, then measure the energy output from the shaft for the length of time that the shaft continues to turn we will find that no energy was breated and the 1st law of thermodynamics is conserved
Dear I found the reason why there are fake sites and you tube that shows the matter is fake , they want to show that this matter is fake ,and in order to let other people give up the trial for the free energy via magnets , I am a physicist I know that in quantum mechanics strange things can happen , and even in classical physics , so I tell every body dont give up , the fake sites are made on purpose to discourage people , and you will see this phrase all the time it is against this or that law of physics , I tell you , you can bend the laws of physics somehow , if not free energy then extending the energy , for example you can use the training bicycle ( or any normal bicycle as a training bicycle ) to move/rotate a freewheel and this can move the motor generator all in one axis of rotation and no need for belt to transfer the movement ( the belt will exhaust the energy ) , and any thing is possible , the design can be developed into any new form all the time ,
Why are the inventors and developers called scammers? The first prototype of an aeroplane wasn't a great success and look at the sky today. Full of planes. It's very rare that the first invention would be the final version of it.
Question – so the question is – can the magnet placed in a way where you can make the fan spin generate electricity? I don't consider this to replace regular electricity, but rather being able to get power when there is an outage (need to charge your phone, small light, etc…)
Magnets does not get weaker because they repel eachother. You can arrange the magnets for rotor and stator in parallell. Two magnets side bu side, having its polarity in parallell just makes a wider magnet. Then the magnetism does not fight each other off.
Still, these motors wont work. None has proven to work without energy input.

We would quite agree that this is a new invention and it is not perfect from the moment go. It needs to be worked upon, experimented upon and discussed freely rather than just being termed as 'fake'. That is the real reason of sharing it on the blog, to get a discussion going….
Yes, that's the point of these motors.
Using the motors, one should be able to generate small amounts of energy, sufficient to power a fan or an LED bulb to start off with.
If we can develop this enough, we could be onto something newer and cleaner.
You are quite right when you say that nothing works without energy!
These motors work on magnetic energy and at some point the magnets will lose their magnetic properties due to this energy being spent, where they will have to be replaced.

Well,I read carefully the post and I must say few things about the free energy magnetic motors.It is a reality that we can produce free energy using smart mechanical devices working with permanent magnets from Neodymium(i don't know if they work with ferrite as well as with Neodymium).Neodymium is mixed up chemically with two more elements(fe and B ).So we get the Ne2Fe12B which the final substance of the magnet.It is 10 times more powerfull than ferrite magnets.No one can say with mathematical accuracy how long they are going to last in a constant operation as parts of a magnetic motor.The magnetic force of neodymium seems extrordinary.They probably can last one hundred years,.The energy we will gain is thousand times bigger than this one we spend to make them get magnetism using direct current.So the energy problem of this planet is already solved for ever.Because the oil and natural gas is going to finish to the last drop after 70-80 years.The uranium the same(80 years max).Many decades before the situation will become horrible for the humanity because of the lack of fuels.The free magnetic energy is a blessing for the humanity because the solar systems and the wind generators would not be able to cover the energy need(after the end of fuels). unfortunately that one is fake and a scam. we are all looking for the quest of free energy, and like the physicist that said it above me, there is a way, but the suppression is real and "they" want us to give up. but when there is a will , there is a way. There are some generators that don't use magnets which are classed as real Generators. Tesla perfected it but it's been suppressed by govnts/ Bush's etc. I agree most guys on internet are fake or as you say mags will fail after time. Bob Lazar worked on Sport Model Saucer at Area S-4. Permanent Magnets can not be "charged" or depleted. When they make a magnet, a number of strong pulses by an electromagnet align the magnetic particles in the magnet. The other material in the magnet is called the pinning material. The pinning material holds the magnetic particles in place that are aligned to "shine" out from the magnet. Since you can not charge up a magnet, you also can not deplete a magnet or store energy in it. The magnet can become misaligned due to abuse of use or time and suffer weakness by misaligned particles that were held in the pinning material that no longer hold the magnetic particles so they can "shine" outward.
Yes, I have made a number of magnet motors that uses neodymium magnets in the stator and rotor. I use an actuator to move another magnet to switch the magnetic field at the proper time to allow rotation.
